Ann is also a certified instructor of the PESL (Pronouncing English as a Second Language) Accent Modification Method. As a lifelong voice geek, she has a passion for the human voice and the mechanics of voice production, sparked by her own personal experiences with vocal rehabilitation early on in her performing career.

She is a classically trained singer and has won numerous awards in vocal competitions. She has performed in leading and supportive roles in venues across the United States in multiple genres (rock, opera, musical theater, secular, and sacred music). She enjoyed a successful career as a singer, performer, and teacher for over 25 years. She also worked extensively in medical education at multiple universities, training hundreds of medical students and professionals to improve their communication skills. She has worked with trans women, trans men, and non-binary individuals to help them achieve their own authentic voices. She is a human rights advocate, and her personal, clinical, performance, and teaching backgrounds give her a unique set of skills to help clients meet their individual needs.

Ann currently lives in Reno, Nevada. She loves hiking in the nearby Sierra Mountains, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, finding killer deals at thrift shops, and learning about neurobiology and the mysteries of the world. In addition to being a speech pathologist, she is also a professional audiobook narrator. Click here for an audio sample or if you’d like to work together!
