Gender Affirming Voice
Make it stand out.
Let your voice be the compass guiding you to a place where you feel at home within yourself.
Our voice is a powerful instrument and is intricately intertwined with our thoughts and emotions. And when we feel like our voice doesn’t represent who we are, it can result in vocal dysphoria, which can cause us great physical and mental distress. With gender affirming voice training to better align our voice with our gender identity, we can work toward reducing vocal dysphoria and start feeling good about our voice and who we are. Wherever you are in your process, I do my best to provide a safe environment in which to explore, as well as provide functional tools, tips, strategies, and continuous support so that you can discover your own unique, authentic voice that is more congruent with your gender identity. All are welcome here.
Additionally, we offer a FREE monthly online voice practice group for ongoing practice and support. No prior voice training is required. It is open to all levels of experience, and you can attend at any time. Please reach out with any questions.
